Guestbook & Reviews

Experience Through Their Eyes

We found out about Rocco's from Dave Portnoy's Pizza Reviews on social media and I'm going to have to disagree with him on his score of 7.8.............it's atleast an 8.2! This is probably my new favorite local pizza spot! We got a large pepperoni and sausage pizza, the crust and undercarriage had a very nice crunch. The sauce has a really good flavor and just the right amount of cheese. They also don't skimp on the toppings, there's one in almost every single bite! We also split a cheesesteak and fries. Their fries are thick like boardwalk fries, but more crispy, that's how they should be! Their cheesesteak isn't a traditional Philly style, but don't think that changes how good it is. If you're in your mid 40's and up, you'll know what I mean when I say it's more of and old school Maryland style steak and cheese than a cheesesteak! They're usually about 8" long soft toasted roll, with a level amount of meat and toppings. It was nice throwback feeling to what I was used to growing up! I highly recommend Rocco's of Glen Burnie!

Another solid experience from the good folks at Rocco's. Got a large pepperoni and sausage pizza and it turned out perfectly and was delivered piping hot (I live chose by). Best NY style pizza I've had in Glen Burnie and I've been ordering from them for 18 years?

Small pizzeria with a very neighborhood feel. Great food, reasonably priced, and the employees were very quick and extremely friendly.

Just had the Lunch Special which is two cheese pizza and a drink for around $6.00. (I got the pepperoni). And I love the New York Style pizza - very familiar taste of home. Definitely coming back. As for atmosphere, it's a small place. Two tables that seat 8 in total for indoor dining, which is what you'd expect for a takeout-based pizzeria. It's clean, and the kitchen is semi-open so you can kinda see what they're doing. Thank you!

This is probably the best pizza I've had in the area. Their prices are not high like other mom and pop pizza spots and their pizza is better. I lived a hour outside of NYC for the last four years so I've been spoiled by quality when it comes to pizza and I was looking for a comparable pizza spot in md once I moved back because the standard chains don't cut it and ledos can get pricey. Safe to say I found it in roccos! They have been consistently good the few times I've ordered so far. I like my pizza with extra sauce, light cheese and well done and they actually made it that way upon request. Their original nyc hand tossed crust is great but if you are in the mood for a thick Sicilian square pie, theirs will not disappoint. Definitely have recommended this place to all my friends.
